This software has revolutionized the way security alarms are handled. It has enabled monitoring stations to view live streaming video, as well as pre and post alarm video, as soon as alarm has been triggered at a remote location. When an alarm is triggered, a signal is sent to the monitoring station. The central station software then determines which zone the alarm is in and begins to download pre and post alarm video from cameras in that zone. At the same time it notifies a monitoring agent that there has been an alarm and he or she is immediately connected to live streaming feeds from the cameras in the alarm zone.

Live, pre and post videos from three cameras can be viewed simulataneously. If needed, a monitoring agent can easily switch to view another camera at the location. Because bandwidth is sometimes and issue, monitoring agents can change the live video streams to streaming jpegs, or turn them off completely, to help speed up the downloading of pre and post alarm videos. This technology eliminates the need to have someone go to the site to verify the alarm. Included in the software package is a web application that allows the monitoring station to manage their video monitored sites and review previous alarm events and station statistics.
